It follows a young Indigenous boy as he navigates the emotional landscape of his first day at a city private school, wrestling with the fear of losing the essence of family and community. Created from four years of authentic footage featuring the filmmaker's own family, "Bama" serves as a poignant reflection on the emotional toll of transitioning from a close-knit community to urban life. The film delves deeply into themes of identity, belonging, and the enduring strength of cultural roots.
